In the shallows (0-2 meters) of the Bay of Marathon
I have found fish belonging to 21 different families, most of them from the
order Perciformes, but also a few belonging to other orders: Anguilliformes, Atheriniformes,
Aulopiformes, Beloniformes, Pleuronectiformes and Scorpaeniformes. The sizes
given are pure guesswork, since I’ve only seen them swimming around, not
lying dead somewhere where I could measure them. If anyone notices any mistakes in the identification
of a fish, please contact me. |
